Yes folks the boat committee have managed to find and purchase on behalf of the club a second hand Ridgid Inflatable Boat! The new boat was from an owner in Southend and cost £7000. Its details are highlighed below.

Age: Hull 10 years, Engine 1 year.

Engine: 50hp 4 stroke Johnson

Condition: Excellent - it really was a well looked after boat

Trailer - Rollercoaster, unbraked

Capacity: 1 cox and 6 divers in good sea conditions, 4 divers in marginal conditions.

Some of us took her to Bradwell and took her for a spin down the Blackwater estuary. She will do 20knots planning with 5 adults. She will be taken to Cornwall this Easter and we will hopefully be able to report back on a successfull trip later in April 07.
