Billericay Sub-Aqua Club has an active group of divers whose diving is primarily technical in nature:
• Three APV Inspiration rebreathers.
• Three KISS Classic rebreathers.
• Active group of Open Circuit Trimix Divers.
The club organises several technical trips each year. For example:
• Poole weekend – diving the wrecks of the Aparima & Avanti. (42 metres)
• Long weekend to France from Brighton, diving the Warilda & Lanfranc (52 metres)
• Newquay long weekend – including the wreck of the SS Rewa (65 metres)
• Northern Ireland –Trimix trip diving the wrecks of the North Channel – HMS Audacious, Empire Heritage, Justicia etc. (65-70 metres)
Various individual days out of Eastbourne/Brighton diving wrecks such as the Moldavia, Duke of Buccleugh, Seaford Ferry etc. (50-60metres)
